Google Pixel Watch price, colour options tipped: What to expect

Google is set to unveil the Pixel 7 series smartphones and the Pixel Watch at an upcoming event called “Made by Google” that is scheduled to be held on October 6. The tech giant offered the first glimpse of the upcoming smartwatch at the I/O 2022 event and recently the company’s CEO Sundar Pichai was also spotted wearing the same watch. Now, the expected US pricing and colour options of Google’s first smartwatch have been revealed online. A retail source has shared the speculated pricing of the Wi-Fi model of the upcoming Pixel Watch, reports 9To5Google.
Google Pixel Watch: Expected price and colour options
Earlier, the LTE (cellular) model of the Google Pixel Watch was reported to include a price tag of $399.99 (roughly around Rs 31,700) and now the Bluetooth/Wi-Fi version is expected to cost $349.99 (almost around Rs 27,800) in the US. The report also suggests that European pricing for the Pixel Watch will reportedly be similar to the US pricing, but the smartwatch is expected to be priced lower in India.

Google might use various colour combinations for the body and the band of the Pixel Watch. As per the report, these are some colour combinations that the company might offer for the Wi-Fi version of the upcoming smartwatch — Black/ Obsidian, Silver/Chalk, and Gold/Hazel. In this case, the first colour references the body of the device, while the second is the band.
For the cellular model, the colour combo options are also expected to be similar, with a tiny change. The LTE model of the Google Pixel Watch with a silver colour body may have a Charcoal band (in place of Chalk). Chalk is likely to be off-white, charcoal is dark grey while obsidian will be black.
Google Pixel Watch: Expected features
The Google Pixel Watch is rumoured to have a round dial that may have a domed design where the glass may look curving over the edges. This smartwatch is expected to feature an OLED display and may come powered by an older Exynos 9110 chipset paired with 1.5GB/2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Google’s first smartwatch is also speculated to come equipped with other processors (along with the primary one) to share the load.

Pixel Watch is expected to be compatible only with Android devices and will support apps like Google Assistant and Maps. This smartwatch is rumoured to last for a day on a single charge, but that might vary if always-on-display or sleep tracking is enabled. The upcoming wearable will be made of recycled stainless steel and will run on Google’s Wear OS.
